Delivery and returns


The minimum spend for on line deliveries is £20, which is less than ALL the other retail multiples offering an online service (most of them are at £40). In order to achieve this efficiently we are very keen to work with you on 2/3 days notice between order and delivery. You will need to book a delivery slot to ensure delivery at the right time.

Delivery will be free of charge for all deliveries over £20. For any delivery under £20, a charge of £7.50 will be levied

We shall deliver between 8am and 8pm – Monday to Saturday. Deliveries will be made in 2-hour slots. In the unlikely event that we have a problem getting to you, we shall of course contact you. It is therefore recommended that you leave us a mobile telephone number, so that we can make contact either by phone or text. Delivery slots can be booked when you checkout.

If your access is either unusual or difficult, it would help us immensely if you complete the additional information section during checkout. Deliveries must be signed for by someone over the age of 18. There is a £15 redelivery charge if you are not at home when we attempt to deliver.

If you aren’t vulnerable, disabled, or elderly, our delivery drivers are now following social distancing guidelines, so they will deliver to your doorstep whilst keeping a 2-metre distance from you. If you live in a flat, your groceries will still be delivered to your front door.

If you are vulnerable, disabled, or elderly, the driver can still bring your shopping inside if you ask. They will not be able to enter your home if you’re currently self-isolating.

Please understand that we take the health and safety of our drivers seriously. If you need your shopping taken inside, this also won’t be possible if our drivers will be at risk of injury.


Under consumer laws in the United Kingdom, we must supply our goods to you as described, fit for purpose and they must be of satisfactory quality.

For on-line purchases, you must inform us that you wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods. You then have 14 days to return the goods once we have been informed. Refunds will be given within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.

If you wish to exercise your legal rights to reject products, you must return them in person to us (either where you bought them or post them back to us or, if they are not suitable for posting, allow us to collect them from you).

Chilled Foods: There may be some exceptions to these rights such as for those products and services listed below where, for reasons of hygiene, safety or under law we are not able to refund or exchange items unless faulty, not as described, not fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality.

Fresh & Frozen

The vast majority of products are packed and sealed at our suppliers’ factory. “Fresh” products (such as most meats, bread, eggs, pies and pizzas), will be delivered in recyclable brown paper bags or containers.

Many of the prepared meals (dh delicious) and game will be frozen. These products will be kept in temperature controlled facilities within the van before delivery.


We are very keen to reduce the use of single-use plastics. Your order will therefore be delivered bag free.

Telephone Orders

We can take orders by telephone if you wish. However, we might not always be able to take the order and confirm payment. Hence we promise to ring you back within 24 hours if you leave a message. 07831 505560.
